zero duty landslide, south route jammed

 
LUMAJANG,- Landslide occurred in the zero duty, precisely in the Village Supit Urang, District sellers, Lumajang, East Java, on Wednesday (01/23/2013) at 15:30 pm. Landslide that closed the road causes Malang-south line Lumajang it impassable to vehicles due to land and uprooted trees blocking the road.

"Starting at 18:30 pm've been able to re-pass roads, though still one lane open and close with the system," said Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Lumajang, Rochani.

Landslides caused by heavy rains throughout the day. Longsaor occurred at five points along the sub Probojiwo. The point of greatest landslide in the village along the 15-25 km Supit Urang. Avalanche roads jam up to 1 km from the Lumajang and Malang direction.

"Thanks to the cooperation BPBD, police, military and local residents together to overcome the avalanche path can already re-opened, though still one lane," said Rochani.

Rochani urged people to be careful when passing lane Malang-Lumajang as prone to landslides during the rainy season.
