Fish Prices Still High Due Fishermen at sea yet

BANJARMASIN,  - for fish in a number of areas in South Kalimantan is still high due to many fishermen do not dare to go to sea. In the Tabanio, Sea Land District, for example, Spanish mackerel type fish prices are still ranging from Rp 60,000-Rs 70,000 per kilogram p.

"Prior to the wave of Spanish mackerel are high in price ranges from Rp 35,000-Rp 40,000," said Imul, one of the fishermen of Tabanio, Friday (25/01/2013).

According Imul, the fish is currently supplied by fishermen who were in the area a bit shady with the wave conditions are not too high, such as acids and Muara Kintap.

Tabanio fishermen themselves have not dared to go out to sea a few days despite the wave conditions started to improve. They worry that if high waves reappeared along with a full moon.

During this time, fishermen catch fish Tabanio far enough to Masalembu waters, in Madura, and Sampit in Central Kalimantan. Once at sea they spend about two weeks at sea, so it must be ensured that the weather conditions are completely safe to move.
