Banbury - Timo Glock not be in the team competition Marussia in Formula 1 this season. Marussia announced that it and the Glock has agreed to terminate cooperation.
Glock joined Marussia since 2010, when the team was still called Virgin. The German rider was also agreed to extend his contract until next year.
However, cooperation between the two sides ended up having to cut faster. Suspected financial problems so why. In the midst of a difficult economic conditions, Marussia allegedly no longer afford an experienced rider like Glock.
Thus, the new Marussia now have a rider for next season. He is a debutant rider, Max Chilton.
"We would like to thank Timo who work with us to reach this decision, especially since he has a valid contract, and also for the contribution he gave to our team," said Marussia team principal, John Booth, was quoted as saying by Autosport.
"We wish him all the best in the future and I would like to congratulate the next team who will get the services of a competitive rider, professional, and experienced," he said.
